Lindsey Haines, MS, LPC, LCDC
Hi, my name is Lindsey Haines and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor. I was drawn to counseling because I have personally benefited from counseling in the past. I believe in meeting people where they are at and I will work toward finding the right approach for you because the same therapeutic approach does not work for everyone.
I have worked in a variety of settings from in home counseling, residential treatment centers, to hospital settings. I have experience with kids, adolescents, and adults. I believe in working from a holistic and strength based approach, so I believe in treating the person as a whole and focusing on their strengths instead of the “problem”. Some modalities I use are person-centered, solution focused, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Dialectal Behavior Therapy. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, PTSD, substance abuse, and eating disorders. I graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with my BS in Sociology and Psychology in 2013 and in 2016 with my MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. It would be my honor to work with you and help you work towards your goals!
